Enterprise-Driven Philanthropy (EDP) is a framework developed by Daniel Mangena for structuring capital to create sustainable social and economic impact through productive enterprise.
EDP begins with a simple proposition: sustainable impact is determined not only by the amount of capital deployed, but by how that capital is structured, governed, measured and reinvested.
The framework brings together intentional capital allocation, productive enterprise, accountability, reinvestment and ecosystem development. Its objective is to explore how capital can remain economically productive while generating measurable and compounding social value.

Enterprise-Driven Philanthropy is presented as a foundational framework rather than a completed doctrine.
Independent academic examination is actively encouraged. Researchers are invited to test, challenge, refine and expand the framework through empirical research, comparative studies, case analysis and application across different sectors and geographical contexts.
Areas of particular interest include development finance, philanthropy, impact investing, social entrepreneurship, industrial policy, economic development, capital allocation and social impact measurement.
